Artist's Statement on AKC Tribute Collectables

 Buy one or collect them all. . . The Rescue Dog series captures the many subtle emotional and physical dimensions of a rescue dog while paying tribute to some of the most beautiful dog breeds from around the world. The coffee cup in each composition signifies a final adjustment to having a loving, safe forever home. Regardless of this artist's intention, you yourself may observe expressions and meanings more relevant to your own experience with rescue dogs. The use of acrylic and metal as the medium for this work represents the strength and resilience of a rescue dog; thus, anyone can participate in collecting these sweeties on magnets, too.
